India Arrests Ex-R.G. Kar Principal Sandip Ghosh
The CBI detained the head of the state-run hospital, where a resident doctor was raped and murdered, for corruption.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Ghosh Monday for corruption, and will hold him for at least eight days.
The CBI also arrested Ghosh’s security guard, Afsar Ali, and two R.G. Kar vendors, Biplab Singha and Suman Hazar, The Hindu reported. All four face charges of criminal conspiracy, cheating and dishonesty, and corruption.
